These three listings are the Unlocked Cell Phones guide for this season. Best Overall is Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB). Best Budget is Motorola Moto G Play LTE. Best Premium is Google Pixel 9 Pro – Unlocked. Those labels describe the kind of product each listing is, based on the features on its own page. They are not a ranking by price, and they are not a claim that one of them is discounted. Match the title before you match the role.
Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) — Best Overall
The full listing title is “Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB)”. The recorded condition is New. If the title you open later says Renewed, Used, or a different size, color, or storage figure, it is no longer this listing. Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) is carrier-locked as the title or the listing states. A locked phone stays on that carrier. It is not a factory-unlocked phone with a different name, and a plan on another network is not a setting you can assume. The title marks Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) unlocked, or the feature list does. Unlocked still needs a carrier that supports the phone. Dual-SIM and international model codes in the title are part of the identity. Do not swap in a US carrier model that the title does not name. Why this listing is the one on the page: Base Google Pixel, not a Pro and not a Pixel a-series phone.
The product page describes Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) this way: “6.3″ OLED screen (120Hz refresh rate, super bright at 2700 nits)” The screen description belongs to Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) at the size named in the title. A different inch class, even from the same series, is a different television, monitor, phone, or tablet. A stated feature of Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) is this: “Durable Gorilla Glass Victus 2” That feature belongs to this listing of Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB). A shorter holiday title, a different color, or a renewed unit with another listing can drop it, so confirm the sentence is still on the page you open. This listing, rather than a lookalike, carries this claim: “50MP wide + 48MP ultrawide rear cameras for stunning shots” That feature belongs to this listing of Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB). A shorter holiday title, a different color, or a renewed unit with another listing can drop it, so confirm the sentence is still on the page you open. Keep this line attached to Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB): “Runs Android 14 with 7 years of updates” That feature belongs to this listing of Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB). A shorter holiday title, a different color, or a renewed unit with another listing can drop it, so confirm the sentence is still on the page you open.

A stated feature of Motorola Moto G Play LTE is this: “Fluid display + immersive stereo sound. Bring your entertainment to life with an ultrawide 6.5″ 90Hz* HD+ display plus stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio**.” The screen description belongs to Motorola Moto G Play LTE at the size named in the title. A different inch class, even from the same series, is a different television, monitor, phone, or tablet. This listing, rather than a lookalike, carries this claim: “50MP*** Quad Pixel camera. Capture sharper, more vibrant photos day or night with 4x the light sensitivity.” That feature belongs to this listing of Motorola Moto G Play LTE. A shorter holiday title, a different color, or a renewed unit with another listing can drop it, so confirm the sentence is still on the page you open. How to choose Unlocked Cell Phones during Black Friday Deals 2026
Start with the full title, then the condition, then the included pieces. For Unlocked Cell Phones, the listings on this page are Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB); Motorola Moto G Play LTE; Google Pixel 9 Pro – Unlocked. A photo can be shared across colors and storage sizes. The title is the contract. Open the return window before you throw the packaging away, and try the product for the job you actually have: the commute, the room, the network, or the size of the person who will use it. A gift that cannot be exchanged because it was worn outside or registered is a harder gift. Leave time for that.
Skip a listing that drops a word you needed, such as Pro, Ultra, Plus, mini, or a storage number. Skip a bundle that adds a game or accessory you did not mean to buy unless the title of Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) is the bundle you want. Skip a renewed unit if you need a new sealed gift and the title says Renewed. Skip a locked phone if the person needs a different carrier. And skip any comparison that is really two different products wearing one headline.
During Black Friday Deals 2026, match the title and the condition for Unlocked Cell Phones, then check the current price on that listing. The button opens that product. It is not a promise about a different size, a different year, or a store the search happened to name.
After the box arrives, check the title against the packing slip before you assemble or register anything. Furniture wants the hardware count. Apparel wants a try-on indoors. Electronics want a first charge and a first sign-in. Beauty and grocery want a sealed container. If the size, the scent, the carrier, or the piece count is wrong, start the return while the window is open.
Set Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) next to the job you have, not next to the loudest banner. The condition on this listing is New. Write that down with the color, the size or storage, the piece count, and the carrier if the title names one. Those words are the variant. A review, a photo, or a ‘customers also bought’ tile does not move a feature from one variant onto another. If you are buying a gift, the recipient needs that same string, because a nickname is how the wrong size gets wrapped.
On delivery day, check Google Pixel 9 (Unlocked, Obsidian, 128GB) against the packing slip before you register an account, assemble hardware, or wear it outside. Electronics want a first charge and a first sign-in while you can still return them. Apparel and shoes want an indoor try-on on the socks or the layers you will actually use. Furniture wants a hardware count and a measurement of the doorway. Food, soap, and makeup want a sealed container and a date you can read. If the slip and the title disagree, stop and start the return. Do not ‘make it work’ and then discover the window closed.

Black Friday Deals 2026 is a crowded weekend, and Unlocked Cell Phones will be surrounded by older models and accessory bundles. None of that changes the listing you already identified. Match the title, match the condition, then look at the current price on that listing alone. A lower number on a different configuration is not a better version of this one.
