The listing linked on this page is a Galaxy S10+, 128GB, ceramic black, unlocked, in Renewed Premium condition. It is not a new phone, not the smaller S10, and not a 512GB or 1TB version.
The Galaxy S10 Plus is Samsung’s large 2019 flagship, the 6.4-inch phone with three rear cameras and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader in the display. Black Friday pages shorten it to “S10” and then mix the smaller S10, the flat S10e, the 5G variant, and renewed units with tired batteries. The plus-size screen and the third camera are the identity. If either is missing, it is a different phone.
Samsung gave the S10+ a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display at Quad HD, with a punch-hole front camera rather than the S9’s forehead. The fingerprint sensor is ultrasonic and sits under the glass. In the United States the chip is a Snapdragon 855. Other regions shipped an Exynos 9820. Most versions have 8GB of RAM. A ceramic model in some markets had 12GB. Storage commonly starts at 128GB and was also sold at 512GB and 1TB, with a microSD slot. The rear cameras are a 12-megapixel wide, a 12-megapixel telephoto, and a 16-megapixel ultrawide. The battery is 4,100mAh. There is a headphone jack, wireless charging, wireless power sharing on this generation, and an IP68 rating. The port is USB-C.
S10 Plus versus S10, S10e, and S10 5G
The Galaxy S10 is the 6.1-inch version of the same generation, with a smaller battery. The S10e is the flat, smaller phone with a side fingerprint sensor instead of the ultrasonic reader, and it drops the telephoto camera. The S10 5G is a different, larger 5G phone with extra cameras and a different body. A listing that says S10 Plus and then describes a side fingerprint button is describing the S10e. A listing that says 6.1 inches is describing the S10. Only the Plus combines the 6.4-inch panel, the triple camera, and the under-display reader in the standard non-5G body.
This phone is years past its launch. Samsung’s promised major updates for the S10 line have run their course. A Black Friday purchase does not add a new promise. Check the last supported Android version against the apps you need. The Snapdragon 855 is still usable for ordinary tasks. It is not a current flagship chip, and a seller who says it is “the same as the new Galaxy” is wrong. 5G is not a feature of the standard S10 Plus. If you need 5G, this is the wrong model even when the title looks modern.
Battery condition matters more than the color. 4,100mAh was a strong 2019 cell and a worn 2026 cell is a different experience. Ask for battery health or a clear statement that the battery was replaced, and by whom. Opening the glass back can spoil the IP68 seal. A phone that was opened and then sold as water resistant is a phone whose water resistance you should not trust. Wireless power sharing is a small feature that lets the phone charge another device slowly. It is not a reason to buy a bad battery.
Galaxy S10 Plus Black Friday Deals 2026: what to verify
Match the name Galaxy S10 Plus or S10+, the 6.4-inch size, three rear cameras, storage, unlock status, and condition. Unlocked means usable on a compatible carrier now. A carrier holiday offer can still be a locked phone or a bill credit stretched over months. Those are phone plans. They are not the same purchase as an unlocked handset. This generation uses a nano-SIM and, on many models, a hybrid slot that shares space with microSD. Read how the slot works so you do not expect two SIMs and a card at the same time if the hardware shares the tray.
The box, if it still exists, may not include a wall charger. Samsung was already thinning the in-box kit around this era, and renewed sellers often ship the phone with a cable only. You need a USB-C charger. A headphone jack is on the phone, so a USB-C-only earbud is optional. A bundle case has to be cut for the S10 Plus camera bar, not the S10e.
Turn it on before you trade anything in. Settings should say S10 Plus. Register a fingerprint on the ultrasonic reader, which wants a few repeated presses and works less well with some screen protectors. Test wide, ultrawide, and telephoto in the camera app. If the telephoto does not switch, you may be holding an S10e. Look for burn-in on the OLED and for a previous owner’s account. Activation locks and Samsung account locks both survive a casual reset.
Skip any title that will not say Plus, and skip any title that promises a 120Hz display. This phone is 60Hz. It is a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED, triple camera, ultrasonic fingerprint reader, headphone jack, IP68, and a 4,100mAh battery, in the storage size you chose. Black Friday is a fair week to buy a tested unlocked S10 Plus if that is the phone you meant. It is a bad week to accept an S10e because the photo was a flat Samsung with a hole in the corner.
After it arrives, check the model name, then the storage, then the cameras, in that order. A 128GB phone and a 512GB phone are different purchases even when both say Plus. Put a screen protector on only after you know the fingerprint reader still works with it. Some protectors block the ultrasonic sensor. If yours does, remove it rather than living with a broken unlock. Test wireless charging on a pad you already trust, and test the headphone jack with a wired pair. Look along the curved glass for a crack that a photo hid at the edge. Curved screens chip there. If the glass is chipped, return the phone. Do not wait until a case makes the chip feel smaller. The S10 Plus is a large 2019 phone with three cameras and a jack. Black Friday only changes how carefully the title has to be read.
